Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian actor, singer-songwriter and musician. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister who resides in Leuven Belgium as an assistant to research. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai went to National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist, who was a huge geek. At age 10 she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first singing and music composing career. She was performer in her college in various performances hosted through The Madras Players or EVAM. She served as the head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the Leo Coffee commercial was in the role of Shiva. She was also on Podhigai Channel on a TV serial. The actress performed all over India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). Gautham A. Menon invited her after she had performed in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as the lead female character in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani who is married and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was part of the cast in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. It was first released in the early part of the year 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to play a minor support role. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's romantic movie Annayum Rasoolum.
