Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock and alternative. But it includes influences like hip-hop, punk and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to establish her own record company in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father is Italian origin, while her mother comes from Montreal.
