Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock and alternative. But it includes influences like hip-hop, punk and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to establish her own record company in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970, in Buffalo New York.
